Privacy Policy
Stashback helps you store and manage Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) vouchers. HaveItFast Technologies built it to be private by design: your data lives on your device, and we operate no servers and collect no personal data.
Summary
- We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.
- We have no accounts, no login, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
- Everything you add — voucher amounts, barcode values, slip photos, and settings — is stored only on your device.
- Data leaves your device only when you explicitly choose to share it (see “Sharing”).
Information stored on your device
The App stores the following locally, in its private app storage:
- Voucher data you enter or scan: amount, currency, barcode value, retailer (optional), dates, expiry, status, and notes.
- Slip photos you optionally capture, as insurance against fading thermal ink.
- App settings: selected country, reminder preferences, app-lock preference, and whether you have unlocked Stashback Pro.
This data is never sent to us. We cannot see it.
Device permissions
- Camera — used only to scan voucher barcodes and to photograph slips. Images are saved locally; we do not upload them.
- Photo library (optional) — to attach an existing photo of a slip.
- Notifications — to show on-device reminders about vouchers that are due or expiring. These are scheduled locally; no push server is involved.
- Biometrics (Face ID / fingerprint) — used only locally to unlock the App if you enable the app lock. Biometric data never leaves your device and is handled by the operating system.
Sharing of your data
Your data only leaves your device when you initiate one of these actions:
- Backup / Restore — you can export a backup file and save it wherever you choose (e.g. iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or Files). You control where it goes.
- Share a voucher (Stashback Pro) — you can generate an image of a voucher and send it via another app. You choose the recipient and channel.
- Export CSV — you can export your redeemed history as a file and share it.
In each case the destination is chosen by you and governed by that service's own privacy policy. Stashback does not receive a copy.
Purchases
Stashback Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payments are handled entirely by those stores under their own privacy policies — we do not receive your payment details. The App only stores, on your device, whether Pro is active.
Third-party services
The App makes no network calls to our infrastructure (we have none) and includes no analytics or advertising SDKs. The only third parties involved are the app stores that process purchases, and any service you choose to send a backup or shared voucher to.
Data retention and deletion
Because all data is local, you are in full control:
- Delete individual vouchers in the App (Archive → delete).
- Restoring a backup never deletes anything automatically.
- Uninstalling the App removes all of its local data, including photos.

Your rights (GDPR / EU)
As an EU-focused app we respect the GDPR. Since we do not collect or process your personal data on any server, there is no data held by us to access, rectify, port, or erase. You exercise these rights directly by managing or deleting data in the App or uninstalling it. If you believe your rights have been affected, you may contact us at the address below or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Stashback is not directed at children and is intended for general audiences managing their own deposit refunds.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
